The position
As a Laboratory Technician, you will closely collaborate with team members to manufacture radiolabeled drug substances using organic synthesis methods to incorporate radionuclides, including the isotopes 3H, 14C, and 125I. post-production, analytical methods are applied to generate data on purity, identity, and stability.

Your primary tasks will consist of, but are not limited to:
• Perform HPLC purification.
• Analyze purity and identity of compounds.
• Document experimental results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment.
• Conduct general housekeeping tasks in the laboratory.

The role also involves documenting your work meticulously, participating in the laboratory’s daily operations, and maintaining equipment. Organic chemistry synthesis experience is a valuable asset. New employees will receive a structured, personalized training program based on their qualifications.

This position involves working with radioactive materials, which requires candidates to exercise caution and a serious attitude toward safety and security. We ensure all necessary security measures are in place to provide a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position, we envision that:
• You are a skilled and engaged laboratory technician or bioanalyst.
• You have experience in the use of chromatographic methods (e.g. HPLC/UPLC/LC-MS) and organic synthesis, as well as maintenance of equipment.
• Experience with quality systems (GMP or GLP) and use of Chromeleon and Thermo-Fisher HPLC systems is an advantage.

• Are agile and flexible in your way of work.
• If needed, you can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and keep a calm overview in busy periods.

About the department
You will be joining a great and collaborative team of 4 laboratory technicians and 5 chemists. Our team thrives on open communication, mutual respect, and a strong sense of cooperation. With flexible working hours, we ensure that our team members can maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives.

In addition to radiolabeled drug substance our department, Chemical Development, contributes by delivery of synthetic peptides, oligonucleotides and small molecules, as well as the delivery of chemical intermediates for the modification of recombinant peptides and proteins. The aim is to develop robust, technically feasible and economical processes with little environmental impact.
