Senior Solution Architect in Core Payments Platform Tribe

We are looking for a senior Solution Architect to join Core Payments Tribe!

Payments are bread and butter at any bank with no exception here at Danske Bank. Our goal is to support our customers’ everyday banking needs by delivering a best-in-class payments infrastructure that orchestrates payments seamlessly in our target markets. We bring efficiency through standardization while making it our utmost priority to ensure the platform is highly performant, always compliant, secure & available.

Core Payments Platform tribe consist of 20 agile squads with more than 200 people in Denmark, Lithuania, and India.

You will work in agile teams delivering innovative payments platform architecture, bridge applications, and infrastructure by guiding the right technology choices, advocating those organization-wide, and shaping strategy and roadmaps.

• Build feature architecture for cross border and high value payments.
• Contribute to Core Payments Platform transformation to cloud native solutions.
• Work on solution, which is of systemic importance to Nordic, especially Danish, society.
• Work with modern technologies such as Java, Kafka and ElasticSearch.

You will:

• Build target and transition architecture for cross border and high value payments
• Design, implement and document cloud solution and integration architectures
• Evaluate the impact of design decisions on solution level
• Evolve Core Payments Platform tribe target architecture
• Support solution design by fully engaging, providing feedback on designs, and facilitating knowledge sharing between tribes
• Act as a sparring partner for engineers and lend a hand in development when feasible
• Ingest, advocate and refine best practices for software engineering
• Look for opportunities to simplify and optimize the way we work

About you:

• Experience in payments domain
• Experience architecting and delivering 24/7 highly critical n-tier solutions in decentralized environment
• Experience in cloud native application development and deployment patterns
• The ability to “think innovatively” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, risk concerns and generic cross-tower and interdisciplinary understanding
• Ability to quickly absorb new information and deal with ambiguity
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate across organizational boundaries
• Advanced English language skills

We offer:
This position can be located both in Lithuania and Denmark. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 5440 EUR to 8160 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job) and your title in the job contract will be IT Software Architect, Senior. However, depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority of the role.
