Ensure the best quality of our software
In this role, you will be part of ensuring the correct quality assurance and continuous high quality of our software. You will play a vital part of the Beta Test process ensuring quality in our features and linking domain and technical knowledge. As our Operational Test Engineer, you can look forward to:

• Creating and maintaining all aspects of test documentation, like test considerations, test cases, risk analysis, and defect reporting.
• Participating in operational test activities such as System Test, Bug Hunt etc.
• Integration test of our Defence products with “deep dive” into selected functionality
• Ask all the critical questions, understand the assignment, ensure close cooperation with all stakeholders like developers, product owners, designers, and project managers.
• Being part of creating a product that is used on the battlefield

Joining the team
You will be welcomed as part of the QA team, which currently consists of 8 highly skilled colleagues located in Aarhus. The team includes a Program Test Manager, Operational Testers and an Infrastructure specialist.

As the operational Tester, you will be working on integration test throughout all our Products as well as doing more operational user-based tests. Furthermore, you will become a part of the overall Test Team in our Defence Business Unit which consists of 46 Testers, Test Managers, Test Interns and Student Workers.

Bring your domain experience into play
As a person, you are detail-oriented and analytical, while you enjoy working with processes and structures. You take a proactive role in your work and thrive in an international working environment where changes occur, and focus might change. You are a self-driven profile who enjoys sparring with your team colleagues on relevant topics. At the same time, we envisage that you:

• Have experience in the Defence Area or experience with Battle Management Systems
• Speak and write English fluently, as it is our corporate language
• Have some experience with test or a great interest in quality assurance. If you do not have a test background, we will make sure that you learn the profession.

Having a relevant degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering or something similar would be an advantage but is not required.

In this role, you might experience a small amount of travel. Expect a maximum of 5-10 days a year.
