Sourcing Analyst

The position
As a Sourcing Analyst for Facility Management you will be driving sourcing related tasks as well as supporting Category Managers with diverse tasks.

***This is a parental cover role and is until end of February 2026***

Your responsibilities will include

  • Support source-to-contract process
    • Support experienced Sourcing Managers in the source-to-contract process, including supplier identification, evaluation, and selection.
    • Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
    • Execute sourcing processes and projects in accordance with guidelines and minimum requirements.
  • Perform analysis and evaluation
    • Perform bid evaluations to assess supplier proposals and identify the best value options.
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and pricing dynamics.
    • Track and analyse market trends impacting the availability and pricing of materials and services, providing insights to inform sourcing decisions and anticipate market changes.
    • Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to sourcing activities, market insights, and bid evaluations.
  • Support negotiations with suppliers
    • Aid in contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and strategic goals.
    • Support the coordination of supplier integration plans with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and efficient supply chain management.
  • Support category managers with ad-hoc tasks necessary to improve procurement performance.

This is a great opportunity to be exposed to different organizational areas throughout Novo Nordisk, as well as frequent interactions and presentations to senior management.

Qualifications
As a successful candidate, you hold a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in, e.g. Business Administration, Engineering, Law, Supply Chain Management or similar.

It would also be beneficial for the successful candidate to have:

  • Previous experience within Procurement, preferably within Facility Management category
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and conflict management skills
  • Previous experience with Coupa system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

On a personal level, you are a team player that brings a positive and constructive attitude and mindset to work, who actively engages in constructive feedback and knowledge sharing and has a solution oriented approach. You have a strategic mindset and use data to drive evidence-based decision-making, complete high-quality complex analyses, and draw strong recommendations. In addition, you are self-driven and able to deliver results independently. We also expect you to be curious and understand the value chain in a large organisation. Finally, you have excellent presentation skills and can communicate at all levels of the organisation.

Corporate Procurement is anchored within Global Solutions area which reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk. In addition, we build strategies and execute improvement projects to optimize the global indirect spend of DKK +50 billion related to, e.g., Facility Management, R&D activities, Marketing services, Travel, Professional Advisory Services, and IT.
