The Role: Join Our Expert Grating Team
At Ibsen Photonics, we harness the power of fused silica to develop innovative optical solutions that drive advancements across a wide range of industries worldwide. Our core technology and expertise revolve around understanding materials, processes, and equipment at the highest level.
We have an opening in our Grating R&D Team, which masters:
- Data acquisition, modeling, and statistical analysis using tools such as LabVIEW, JMP, Python, T-SQL, VBA, and MATLAB.
- Optical and physical characterization of our advanced transmission gratings.
- Product design and development for global applications.
- Precision lithography, including DUV and holographic exposure techniques.
- Dry etching processes (RIE & ICP) to enhance performance and reliability.
- Dicing and visual inspection of final products.
- Commissioning and optimization of advanced custom-built equipment.
Your Background & Skills
We are looking for a professional who brings:
- Proficiency in LabVIEW coding for instrument control and data acquisition.
- Hands-on experience in data analysis, free-space optics, or nanofabrication.
- A deep curiosity and problem-solving mindset regarding process development and optimization.
- A structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting and quality assurance.
- At least 3+ years of experience in industrial production, ideally within a high-tech setting.
