Farm Manager for Premium Porc Group – Leading Large-Scale Pig Production in Romania

Foodjob Nordic is looking for an experienced and results-driven Farm Manager on behalf of Premium Porc Group, one of the largest pig producers in Romania. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and optimize the operations of a large-scale reproduction farm with 6,750 sows, located in Constanța County, Romania.

The Position
As Farm Manager, you will be responsible for starting up and managing the farm located in Constanța County, Romania, which is in the process of being repopulated with DanBred genetics. The first farrowings are expected in autumn 2025, and you will lead a diverse team of approximately 45 employees. The key responsibilities in the job will be:

• Oversee the start-up and operational management of the farm to ensure production targets are met.
• Lead, develop, and train team leaders and farm workers to achieve optimal production results.
• Build and coordinate a well-functioning team with high performance and motivation.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
• Manage farm equipment and infrastructure, including ventilation, feeding, and penning systems.
• Implement and maintain a high-level biosecurity program.
• Run frequent whiteboard meetings to align and engage the team.
• Collaborate with company departments to ensure efficient farm operations.

Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership experience in large-scale pig production, preferably with Danish production systems. As Farm Manager Manager, you will lead a strong team of local employees and technical specialists while maintaining regular dialogue and collaboration with Premium Porc Group management in Romania and Denmark to ensure the full utilization of growth potential. The ideal candidate has:

• Extensive experience managing a large sow farm with strong production results.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams of different nationalities.
• Hands-on, hard-working, and willing to lead by example.
• Ambitious and results-oriented with a structured approach.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (Romanian is an advantage).
• Experience with Cloudfarms and Microsoft Office.
