Overview
Join our team and you will be part of a unique journey in an ambitious Supply Chain team in a lifesaving Medical Device company. During the next years Cook Medical Supply Chain will undergo a significant transformation where digitalization and End to End alignment and optimization will be key focus areas. You will be part of a team of dedicated colleagues covering Planning, Procurement and Business Support.
Responsibilities
As a Production Planner some of your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Planning & Scheduling – manage detailed scheduling on weekly basis.
- Master Planning – work with team on Master planning as part of monthly cycles
- Optimization – analyze production plans to find practical solutions and improvements. Identify and address bottlenecks to optimize production flow.
- Cross Functional Collaboration – ensure smooth communication and collaboration across teams. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate changes and new initiatives efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement – assist, develop and implement strategies for continuous process improvement.
- Performance – report on production performance and suggest corrective actions when necessary. Coordinate and monitor production for optimal resource use and productivity.
- Process and IT – be part of tool development and new ERP implementation project.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a proactive mindset who thrives in dynamic settings, can easily tackle challenges, and enjoys optimizing production efficiency.
The following qualifications will be key for a candidate.
Professional:
- Planning Experience – minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning or a related field.
- Analytical/Data Driven – strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Optimization Mindset – track record of implementing process improvements and increasing efficiency.
- Production Interest – solid interest in production processes.
- IT / Digitalization – Understands ERP systems and planning software combined with good office and BI skills.
Personal:
- Detail and overview – attention to vital detail and able to maintain overview under pressure.
- Communication – excellent communication, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
- Dynamic – ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player – a collaborative mindset, coupled with the ability to work independently when needed.
You are committed and take responsibility for solving tasks and challenges on hand in a structured way. Your analytical skills will naturally be used in solving problems supported by facts and your proactive mindset will secure that we you are on top of issues coming up. As a team player you build relationships with key stakeholders and interact respectfully with many levels in an organization.
