We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Communication Specialist to join our Research & Development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies that foster collaboration and information sharing within our Research & Development (R&D) team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for communication in a technical environment.

About the role:
As a Communication Specialist, you will work closely with the R&D executive team, supporting both strategic and day-to-day communication activities. You’ll play a key role in driving change initiatives, storytelling, and ensuring consistent messaging across various channels and stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support the SVP with internal & external communication efforts, including storyline development, content creation, speechwriting, interview preparation, and more.
• Drive change management communication efforts to ensure smooth transitions within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
• Produce high-quality written and verbal communications tailored to various platforms and audiences
• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support R&D projects and initiatives.
• Manage a communication library (product & suppliers’ presentations, info meeting materials, external meetings & event slides, internal product development slides).
• Craft engaging stories and messages that connect with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Create impactful presentations using PowerPoint and other design tools to convey & visualize complex topics.
• Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

To Succeed in the Position
To succeed in this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in communication, Public Relations or related field (Master Degree is a plus) as well as 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an R&D or technical environment. Strong understanding of communication strategies and change management processes. Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a strong sense of audience engagement. Proficiency in Power point, Canva, Adobe or other visual communication tools. You have a high level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail.
