Your role – challenging and future-oriented
As Global Head of Sales, you will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities worldwide focusing primarily on Europe. You will drive the implementation of our sales strategy, and corporate internally and externally across the globe.

Your tasks will include to:

  • Define and ensure implementation of sales strategy, policies and guidelines, in line with the overall business strategy of the assigned organizational unit.

• Ensure accomplishment of strategic market research and key customer surveys to identify respective strategic business opportunities.

• Define key markets and support definition and identification of key customers in the assigned area of responsibility.

• Drive and monitor key market development programs.

• Ensure effective sales setup capitalizing synergies in collaboration within and across Siemens units (i.e. aligned setups, aligned processes, aligned incentive schemes, etc.)

• Ensure an effective sales organization and infrastructure to foster cooperation with other parts of the value chain (i.e. Marketing & Communication, Product Management, etc.)

• Agree on subordinated function related budget plans and sets and monitors achievement of respective targets.

• Act as ultimate point of escalation to solve mission critical issues and problems.

• Head overall assigned sales organization and leads all related management and staff.

Required (basic) qualifications
• 5 years of experience working with international Sales Management and good with numbers.

• 3-5 years of Management experience.

Preferred experience
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment within the fire, gas or water industry.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Language requirements
• English (minimum requirements), additional languages will be valued
