Job Description
Our Global Supply Chain Technology Center (TEC) is looking for 2-3 talented Interns for Fall semester 2025. We are seeking candidates within Robot, Automation, Technology and Manufacturing engineers.
You will be part of our Global TEC Center with around 100 employees worldwide. Our main purpose is to design, develop and build a Lean world class manufacturing for our next generation products. We do this by bridging Product Development and Operations with the following focus:
- DFAA – Design for Automated Assembly – design the product for automation, design the parts for automation.
- Our automation ambition is high and we want to raise the bar in terms of smart use of robots (collaborative and industrial), modularity and scalability within manufacturing.
- Manufacturing concept development, test and verification with end-to-end supply chain view (from parts to finished product).Create flow with Lean Automation.
- Automate unit-test and develop concept within production line.
- Support line-controller IT system landscape in an Industry 4.0 Supply Chain.
We are currently looking for Interns in the following 2 teams:
Manufacturing: You will work in a cross functional team where we focus on establishing and adapting new production area for new products. This includes working with assembly concepts, Lean manufacturing and understanding flow is key. We also put huge effort in DFAA, collaborative cobots and assembly concept design in creating a world class flexible automated factory.
Platform Architectecture: You will, among other activities, drive the development of our future automated as-sembly platform based on collaborative robots. This includes conceptual refine-ment, followed by real-life proof-of-concept to validate this. Through this work, you will combine theoretical analysis with practical experiments
Job Responsibilities
