Commercial Operation Performance (COP) is a newly established department within Market Operation, collaborating across Market & Channels, Operations, and Product Marketing & Development (PMD) to optimize commercial momentum, support commercial strategies, and drive commercial insights.

Core Responsibilities:

Demand Planning Support and Analysis

  • Support Commercial Demand Review meeting by developing, maintaining, and refining methods to evaluate in-year and next-year Consumer Sales Plan and Demand Plan.
  • Analyze specific operational concerns (such as discrepancies in Demand Plans vs. actuals, low in-stocks, or high excess inventory) to identify root causes and propose actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in understanding the underlying drivers of Demand Planning KPI performance by conducting data analysis and preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholder review.

Commercial Scenario Planning Support and Analysis

  • Actively participate in the Commercial Scenario Planning process by gathering use cases, analyzing potential outcomes, and defining the likelihood of each identified scenario to drive cross-functional alignment with the Operations organization.
  • Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and developing proposals for discussion and approval in regional alignment meetings, creating recommendations for Global Commercial Scenarios used for capacity planning.

Contribute to Performance Improvements

  • Support various Global Commercial Operations projects that require analytical capabilities, ensuring timely and accurate analysis to drive operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Operations Performance team and stakeholders in GCO and Global S&OP teams to optimize key performance measures for demand planning, order management, and retail inventory composition.

The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in gathering, analyzing, and defining the likelihood of scenarios to develop recommendations that drive informed decision-making across the Commercial and Operational organization of the LEGO Group. Through cross-functional collaboration, this role enhances demand planning accuracy and efficiency, supports meeting customer demand, optimizes inventory levels, and adapts to market dynamics, ultimately improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field if preferred
  • Strong analytical & Problem-solving abilities: Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights and propose data-driven recommendations.
  • Advanced handling of MS Office programs, especially Excel and Power BI skills: Proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation, formulas, and visualization.
  • Demand planning experience: Prior experience in demand planning or related roles in a global organization. Familiarity with forecasting methods and demand planning systems
  • Collaboration and communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present information clearly.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of business dynamics & operation with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

Nice to have:

  • Supply Chain knowledge: Understanding of supply chain management principles, processes and how demand planning integrates with other functions
  • Strong time-management and with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Statistical modeling skills, Advanced Analytics and modelling experience: Expertise in using tools like Python or R for data manipulation and modeling.
