What is the job about?
Are you a cloud enthusiast looking to make a significant impact? As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, your main purpose is to ensure the operational efficiency and security of our Cloud Native Infrastructure Platform (CNIP) based on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). You will drive continuous improvement and align the platform capabilities with business and technical demands. This includes managing 3rd level support, implementing architectural directions, and facilitating knowledge transfer within the organization.
Your main responsibilities:
- Ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of the CNIP.
- Provide 3rd level support for complex issues related to the CNIP.
- Drive continuous deployment and improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to peers and other IS Support Services.
- Actively participate in agile scrum ceremonies and practices.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant IT certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Proficiency with Cloud Native Infrastructure Platforms, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong experience with tools and technologies like Azure, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Git, Datadog, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft EntraID, Kyverno, Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Crossplane, Cilium, Kubecost, Aqua.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous deployment practices.
- Typically, 5-6 years of relevant work experience in IT System Engineering.
