Your Key Responsibilities
As our new Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving project sales and setting the commercial direction for VMS Group A/S.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Selling new products and technical solutions including propulsion systems, diesel-electric packages, energy optimization, engineering, project management, and system integration.
- Defining and managing budgets, forecasts, and sales strategies.
- Identifying and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry – including shipowners, shipyards, and technology providers.
- Managing the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Working closely with our technical and engineering teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Representing VMS Group at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
Travel activity should be expected in connection with customer visits and events.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in B2B sales – preferably in project sales or system integration
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A results-driven mindset and a passion for achieving sales goals
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in the maritime industry or related sectors
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or similar
