This is a great opportunity to join our Insert Factory and play a vital part in optimizing the productions schedule and resource allocations in the best way to reach more and more children with LEGO® play experiences.
This is a temporary cover for 12-months - "Crafting the LEGO® story, brick by brick, day by day!"
Core Responsibilities
The Material Call Off and Planning role in our department plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of Insert Factory. It involves optimizing production schedules and resource prioritization, ultimately contributing to the broader organization's goals by Improving operational efficiency and helping us consistently meet production targets. This role is central to our mission of achieving growth and competitiveness within the factory
This position is responsible for production scheduling and material coordination:
Manage production schedules:
- Using Rob-Ex Scheduler to ensure timely delivery of mold parts according to SAP requirements.
- Manage production resources to meet demand efficiently by coordinating material calling and resource alignment.
Route Planning in IF Engineering and Manufacturing:
- Manage efficient routing of parts through different manufacturing stages to optimize and apply manufacturing flows to secure OPR Targets.
Collaboration:
- Maintain close coordination with departments like MAF/MQ and SCM, and to ensure seamless operations across the organization.
SAP Management and Procurement:
- Follow up and manage parts and molds in SAP, ensuring inventory is maintained, especially when key personnel are unavailable.
- Handle the procurement of vital materials and tools through centralized sourcing and SAP.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Update records and maintain documentation on systems like SharePoint and support accurate hourly registration for labor tracking.

The LEGO Group has several factories around the world where we produce our bricks and sets for the Builders of tomorrow, and the Insert Factory would be part of their broader manufacturing and quality control processes to ensure that all LEGO products meet their high standards. Insert Factory manufactures single-piece mould parts by following defined processes, ensuring high quality, fast lead times, and a driven performance.
The team is based in LEGO® Kløvermarken Vest, Billund offering an exciting, inspiring, and flexible work environment – and a little fun play as well.
Do you have what it takes?
The preferred candidate has strong e2e supply chain understanding including some years’ experience working in supply/ demand planning roles in a Global manufacturing organization. Strong collaboration skills including strong self-awareness and ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences.
To succeed in this role, you will possess the following
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field, such as engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
- Problem solving capabilities, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a collaborative manner.
- A self-starter mentality, highly persistent and with a can-do approach.
Strong English communication skills, written and oral, with the purpose to make complex messages simple to understand - and ideally Danish both written and spoken as well.
