Core responsibilities
We are looking for a student worker to join the Moulding Simulation team in the Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) department. In this role, you will support us two days per week preferably starting in May 2025.
Your main tasks will include:
- Assisting in the development of our simulation frameworks
- Exploring new simulation methods and approaches
- Gaining hands-on experience in engineering simulation to support product development
- Sharing insights, findings, and results with stakeholders and specialists to foster knowledge-sharing and skill development
- Being an active member of the CAE team, participating in daily activities, meetings, and social events
Play your part in our team succeeding
As a student worker, you will be an integral part of the Computer Aided Engineering department based in our Billund office, which provides simulation support to the engineering development of the LEGO Group. This includes analysis of injection moulding processes as well as analysis of the mechanical performance of both bricks and moulds. It is our goal to support the design of robust and efficient solutions in a cost-efficient manner based on digital prototypes.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for a student who:
- Is currently pursuing a university degree in Engineering, IT, Data Science or Physics with at least one year left until graduation
- Has an interest in programming and machine learning, especially in applications related to engineering simulation
- Preferably has some hands-on experience in the above-mentioned fields (but if not, don’t worry - you’ll gain it with us!)
- Enjoys tackling complex challenges with focus and persistence
- Is curious, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
- Are fluent in English (written and spoken)
