We are searching for a Development Director for the Reporting Solutions Domain

This position is based at our friendly office in Roskilde, Herning or Warsaw and you will head our Reporting Solution Domain.

The domain is in charge of developing and maintaining finance management and reporting solutions across Credit Risk (COREP), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Financial Reporting (FINREP). In addition, Danish locally adopted reporting such as Bank Recovery & Resolution Directive (BRRD), Monetary Financial Statistics (MFI) and Kreditregister are also within the responsibility of the domain.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant reporting solutions that meet both internal and external customer requirements.

Going forward you will have the opportunity of being front and center in the adoption of new data management platforms and data governance framework within the domains area of responsibility.

Your direct manager will be Yi Yu – Head of Data, Analytics & Reporting

Primary task and responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Reporting Solutions Domain, support our customer banks to achieve their regulatory requirements in the credit risk monitoring, regulatory and financial reporting

    Knowledge about

    • Regulatory Reporting platforms at BEC we have Nasdaq Axiom SL
    • Business Intelligence platform’s & ETL tooling amongst others we use IBM Netezza, Informatica PowerCenter and we are building a new platform based on Databricks.

    It’s nice-to-have:

    • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.

    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large development teams, manage complex projects, and drive strategic initiatives.

    • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as COREP and FINREP.

    • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of reporting frameworks and tools related to Credit Risk, ESG, and Financial Reporting.

    • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing credit risk or finance reporting solutions in the financial sector.

    • Education: bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

    To succeed you will have:

    • Innovation: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance reporting capabilities and efficiency.

    • Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation within the domain to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Data Governance team to implement robust quality control processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of reporting outputs.

    • Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting reporting standards (e.g., COREP, FINREP) and ensure solutions are compliant.

    • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Products and Customers; to gather requirements and ensure reporting solutions meet business needs.

    • Delivery responsible: Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of reporting solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

    • Domain Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
