We are looking for a leader who together with a bright team can ensure management receives relevant and sharp analyses for decision-making, while at the same time providing support for our sales markets and platforms.
About the job
As our Head of Market Insights & Support, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the team and ensuring that we deliver as agreed. The team supports with a wide range of data and analyses that are used to drive and follow sales performance, product - and market profitability.
This includes;
- The collection and analysis of internal and external market data
- Monitoring industry trends
- Providing actionable intelligence to inform sourcing strategies
- Risk management
- Cost optimization initiatives
Together with your team, you will be responsible for supporting all our sales markets with the necessary reporting and analytics to drive business performance. In addition, your function plays an important role in tying IT, Finance, Platforms and management together.
Your key responsibilities and primary task includes:
- Ensure that you together with your team deliver timely high-quality monthly market reports, platform reports and ongoing reporting on profitability and market analysis
- Take ownership and consolidation of external market data
- Take responsibility for our internal sales cube
- Take responsibility for our CRM system (Veeva CRM) and our internal pricing tool (PMA)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our primary stakeholders
- Drive strategic projects and analyses in connection with M&A's or market optimization
- Develop the function strategically and develop the team to always be at the forefront of the sharpest analyses and data
In this position, you will report to the CCO, Thomas Brandhof, and you will be part of the commercial management team. The management team consists of the leaders of each of our 3 platforms and of our market clusters.
Who are you?
We are looking for a professional with 5+ years of management and pharma experience. A relevant master's degree within finance or similar, as well as great competencies in PowerBI and Excel. You must have been a part of an international organization in a similar position as well as having in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
We expect you to have a proven track record in commercial market intelligence/market insights and the ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities, focused on long-term business growth. You have the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into insightful, visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate key messages to both the board of directors and external investors.
As a leader, you possess great leadership and people management skills where you are capable of inspiring and motivating teams.
You must be able to communicate both in writing and orally in both English and Danish.
Who are we?
You will take over the leadership of a great and highly self-driven team consisting of 5 full-time employees and 1-2 student assistants who are spread out in 3 locations (mainly Odense). The team works really well together and there is an informal and humorous tone. Our primary stakeholders are the markets, IT, Finance and the Commercial Management Team.
