Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Manage and improve AKS clusters and associated infrastructure
- Implement secure, observable, and scalable cloud environments
- Work closely with developers, cloud engineers, and security teams
- Contribute to automation and governance with best practices
- Ensure reliable delivery pipelines and operational efficiency
To effectively perform in the role, we imagine that you probably come with a good portion of the following;
- Extensive practical experience with Kubernetes, including setup, configuration, and AKS cluster management
- Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), including networking, scaling, upgrades, and Azure ecosystem integrations
- Infrastructure-as-Code in production environments (Terraform or Bicep)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Good knowledge of Helm – creating and managing charts
- Monitoring & observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights
- Kubernetes security practices – RBAC, Entra ID integration, PodSecurityPolicies, TLS, Secrets, NetworkPolicies
- Extensive understanding of Docker – building, optimizing, and managing container images
Nice to Have:
- Experience with on-prem Kubernetes (Rancher, kubeadm, OpenShift)
- Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA) or Kyverno
- Exposure to hybrid or multicluster setups
- Knowledge of Service Mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd)
