OJ Electronics designs and manufactures underfloor heating solutions and HVAC drives and controllers, and we are looking for an experienced hardware engineer to strengthen our R&D team.

Read more Apply At OJ, you’ll be responsible for designing, simulating, and validating the electronics for our next-generation thermostats, controllers, and sensors. The position focuses on developing reliable, production-ready designs with solid documentation and efficient implementation.

Reporting directly to our hardware R&D manager, you’ll work with colleagues in related disciplines to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions – often tailor made to meet specific customer needs.

Your role At OJ, you’ll be expected to:

• Design, simulate and validate hardware solutions
• Document your work in accordance with established practices
• Help prepare offers and estimates for future projects
• Coordinate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing specialists to ensure consistent system design
• Contribute technical input to future product development

Our expectations

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and transferring hardware for production (analog, digital, SMPS, power electronics, and MCU circuits)
• Familiarity with ECAD tools and circuit simulation (e.g., PSPICE)
• Good understanding of MCU peripherals and their configuration
• Basic knowledge of how embedded software interacts with hardware
• Ability to work independently and follow through on technical tasks
• Fluency in English; Danish an advantage
• Preferably experience with EMC/EMI design and testing, noise mitigation, quality and reliability processes
