Team Lead - High Voltage Engineering - Unique Human Capital

Do you want to help shape the energy solutions of tomorrow? Ramboll is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Lead – High Voltage Engineering to join their Power Systems – Electrification DK department in Copenhagen.

As Team Lead, you will be responsible for a dedicated team of six specialists working on high voltage projects within district energy, bioenergy, industry, and power transmission systems in the Danish market. This role combines technical leadership, project management, and business development, with a focus on people and quality.

You will report to the Head of Department, Power Systems - Electrification DK. As the department enters a phase of strong growth, the Team Lead will play a crucial role in shaping a high-performing team, developing competencies, and fostering lasting client partnerships.

Key responsibilities:
People & Team Development

• Ensure team well-being, lead recruitment, and support professional growth through coaching and competence development.

Operations & Project Delivery

• Oversee daily operations, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely, high-quality
  project delivery.
  Acting as an Electrical Lead Engineer on own projects

Business Development

• Promote the team’s expertise, contribute to tender processes, and support the implementation of departmental business plans.
• A high focus on building strong relationships with internal and external clients.

Your qualifications include extensive experience in electrical design, specifically within transmission and distribution of electricity, Power Generation, On/offshore wind, Power-to-X and Carbon Capture or other related sectors. Your background includes several years of hands-on experience in these areas, demonstrating a deep understanding of the technical and operational challenges in these fields.

Strong oral and written skills in both English and Danish are required.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar background within electrical engineering.

You are capable of conveying complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. You are highly organised, with a keen attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to navigate challenges with creativity and determination, and you are a natural leader who quickly gains trust and confidence with team members.

You understand the importance of collaboration and effectively navigate the dynamics of different teams and partners to drive success. Apart from acting as an Electrical Lead Engineer on your projects, you must also be capable of motivating and developing your team as a leader.
