Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Robotics Lab Technician to support our engineering and quality teams in maintaining, testing, and operating our robotic systems. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background and a passion for robotics and lab-based work. You will be a critical part of our hardware-software integration efforts, ensuring our systems are thoroughly tested and well-maintained.

As a Robotics Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to experience a range of activities, which vary week to week and sometimes day to day.

These include:

  • Assist software and hardware engineers with robot maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Support QA engineers in planning and executing lab-based tests (setup, run, record results)
  • Solder and rework simple electronic boards and connectors
  • Operate various types of robots for functionality testing and data collection
  • Receive, track, and organize incoming shipments; coordinate outgoing shipments for equipment and materials

  • 1-3+ years working in a technical field (e.g., Software, Electrical, or Hardware Engineering), preferably with robotics experience
  • Able to work onsite in the lab during weekday business hours
  • Experience working in a robotics or mechatronics lab
  • Familiarity with common robotics platforms or test tools
  • Prior experience with lab inventory and logistics preferred
  • Basic soldering skills and comfort working with electronics
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-driven in pursuing technical knowledge related to the job
  • Continuously align work procedures and expectations with the changing needs and expectation of the dynamic business environment
  • Must be able to follow safety protocols and maintain clean and organized work environment
  • Able to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
