Senior Lead Engineer (Low/Medium Voltage) - Unique Human Capital

Looking to combine technical mastery with client leadership? Ramboll is hiring a Senior Lead Engineer to deliver innovative low- and medium voltage projects across Denmark.
As a Senior Lead Engineer (Low/Medium Voltage), you will be responsible for delivering technical solutions and providing expert advice within low- and medium voltage electrification projects. You will act as a trusted advisor to Ramboll’s clients, guiding them through needs analysis and technical options to ensure solutions that are both technically sound and aligned with their business goals.

You will lead the technical scope of projects, including smaller engineering teams, while building and maintaining strong client relationships founded on trust, professionalism, and deep technical expertise. This role combines hands-on engineering with broad responsibility for client advisory and long-term customer satisfaction within power systems and electrification.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems at low voltage/medium voltage levels according to relevant standards and regulations
• Preparing protection schemes and philosophies
• Preparing technical specifications for lowvoltage equipment such as power transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing and lightning protection
• Providing input to procurement and handling technical clarifications before and during the execution phase
• Providing input to and participating in factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, and commissioning
• Acting as the client’s technical advisor and taking on the role of Owner's Engineer
• Lead the technical scope, including leading smaller engineering teams
• Participate in sales and proposal work

Your qualifications include proven experience in independently leading smaller projects within low- and medium voltage engineering. Your solid background in electrical engineering provides experience in one or more sectors such as On/Offshore wind, energy-intensive industries, offshore oil & gas, Power-to-X, energy-from-waste, power plants, or district energy.

With strong analytical skills, you easily understand complex power systems and are driven to deliver high-quality technical solutions on time. You take a proactive approach to identifying risks, always prioritising safety and regulatory compliance. You excel at collaborating and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Building and maintaining strong client relationships comes naturally to you. You combine deep technical expertise with commercial insight and an engaging, outgoing personality. Finally, you are comfortable working in global, multicultural environments and thrive in diverse teams.
