Are you a strategic marketing leader ready to shape the future of iconic brands in Malaysia? Join us at CO-RO as the Senior Marketing Manager for our Sunquick and Sun Lolly brands. You’ll lead brand strategy, innovation, and campaign execution in one of our most important markets, while mentoring a high-performing team and collaborating with global and regional stakeholders.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead Sunquick and Sun Lolly in Malaysia.
Sunquick is a global brand present in 80+ markets, with Malaysia as a key market, primarily in concentrates and B2B applications. Sunlolly, our home-freeze iced lolly brand, is also launching in Malaysia. As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead the brand strategies for Sunquick and Sunlolly in Malaysia, ensuring the market remains a strong equity market for CO-RO.
This role will drive brand strategy, campaign execution, innovation, and A&P effectiveness while leading and developing the Malaysia marketing team, working closely with regional and global teams to keep Malaysia a key market for CO-RO.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Brand Strategy: Adapt global strategies to local market needs and define long-term growth plans.
- Drive Campaigns: Own the annual marketing calendar and lead integrated ATL, BTL, digital, and shopper marketing initiatives.
- Manage Portfolio & Innovation: Optimize brand performance, lead product launches, and support food service channel growth.
- Own Budgets & KPIs: Manage A&P budgets, track campaign performance, and ensure ROI.
- Inspire Teams: Mentor and develop your team while fostering a high-performance culture.
What We’re Looking For
- 6–10 years of experience in marketing or commercial execution, ideally in the non-alcoholic beverage industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Business, Mass Communication, or related field.
- Native proficiency in English and Malay; Mandarin is a strong plus.
- Proven leadership experience and strong analytical skills.
- Deep understanding of Malaysian consumer behavior and market dynamics.
- Agile, detail-oriented, and culturally aware.
- Currently residing in KL Malaysia and open to travel to Penang on a weekly basis
