We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Finance Manager (Regnskabschef) to take ownership of the financial operations at Hello Retail. You will be responsible for ensuring that our accounting and financial processes run smoothly and with high quality, working closely with our in-house bookkeeper and collaborating across the organization.

In this role, you will manage the full accounting cycle in a SaaS environment – from reconciliations, month-end closings, reporting, and cash management to handling invoices, customer contact, and payroll administration. You will also be the one who is not afraid to pick up the phone and talk directly with customers or partners when needed.

This is not a traditional leadership position. Instead, it’s an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the numbers and the operations, who wants to take responsibility, and who finds satisfaction in getting things done with precision and efficiency. Over time, your role will also expand into contract management, ensuring that our customer agreements are set up correctly and efficiently.

You will be part of our day-to-day operations and work alongside colleagues across departments. We value collaboration, empathy, and a team-player mindset – and we’re looking for someone who wants to make a real impact by ensuring our financial backbone is strong and reliable.

Your Accounting toolbox is complete. You know how to handle month-end and year-end closings, with all the required reconciliations to be able to prepare correct financial statements – internal and external.

This is a hands-on position, where you must be prepared and able to do many of the debits and credits yourself in our accounting system.

Experience with E-economic is preferred, but not required.

  • Strong in Excel & Financial Analysis – You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data.
  • Experienced with P&L and Forecasting – You have worked operationally with P&L, know how to ensure accurate balance sheets, and can build reliable cash forecasts.
  • Solid Financial Background – You may have a background as an auditor or similar, and you bring knowledge of all aspects of financial operations, including compliance, annual reporting, and regulatory requirements.
