WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US
We are looking to expand our team within Alternative Investments in Complex Operations within Business Services. With Business Services, SimCorp is expanding the range of products offered to new and existing customers using SaaS-solutions also to include Business Services.

As a part of the new operations area, the team are seeking a new Lead Operation Analyst who will help to shape the operational foundation of a new outsourced service for the operational handling of the customers’ portfolio of alternative investments. We are committed to establishing and offer industry-leading operational solutions and services to our customers and hope to include you in these endeavors.

Initially, you will act as an important stakeholder for developing and implementing new solutions for existing and new SimCorp-customers within the alternatives sphere as a part of a fairly small (for now!) and newly established team located in Copenhagen with freedom to make key decisions and to guide the directions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Designing daily operational processes within alternative investments while drawing on your experience to translate client needs into effective workflows and scalable solutions within Simcorp Dimension® and the Alternative Investment Manager
  • Promote close cooperation and sharing of knowledge with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally from an international perspective
  • Constantly expand your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and the clients' business in the aspiration to ensure optimal configurations and workflows by the customers
  • Help to design requirements with different business areas within SimCorp as well as establishing an internal operations center to deliver daily operations
  • Documenting procedures and onboarding new colleagues as the team grows

WHAT WE VALUE
Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you have gained the required skills is less important. We expect you to recognize several of the following, and the will to learn the rest:

  • Your degree could be in economics/finance/math/computer science or similar, but relevant experience is more important than the specific diploma
  • Solid experience with Alternative Investments – maybe as a controller, analyst or operations officer from banks, asset managers, pension fund or consulting firms
  • Understanding the characteristics of different asset types within private markets such as private equity, private debt, hedge funds and real estate, but also investments in different structures such as direct holdings, fund structures or FoF
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension® and the Alternative Investments Manager
  • Client-oriented with a can-do and collaborative as well as knowledge sharing mindset and with the ability to communicate throughout the entire value chain
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
