The role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support & Operations Engineer to join our international team. Based in Taiwan, you will provide hands-on IT support to global users, with a particular focus on APAC operations during regional working hours.

This role combines day-to-day end-user support with advanced technical administration, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender, automation, and endpoint management.

You will work closely with IT colleagues in Copenhagen, Taiwan, Greece, and Korea, supporting both daily operations and global IT projects for all COP offices around the world. Occasional international travel to COP offices is part of the role.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver IT support to users locally, regionally, and globally, resolving issues across hardware, software, and networking.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Configure and manage endpoints via Intune and Azure AD, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Administer Microsoft Defender 365, monitor alerts, and assist with incident response.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, reporting, and audits.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding processes, including user accounts, licenses, and access control.
  • Record and track incidents and requests using Jira.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on compliance, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
  • Participate in international IT projects such as migrations, rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Coordinate with local vendors for hardware, telecom, and IT services.

Your experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of professional IT support/operations experience.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft Defender 365.
  • Strong experience with Windows 11 deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with endpoint management and RMM tools (NinjaOne or similar).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools (Jira preferred).
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and structured service delivery.
  • Excellent communication in English; Mandarin or other regional languages are a plus.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, AZ-104, MD-102) are a strong advantage.
