About the role
We are looking for a Director of Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) to lead our four CSA departments in Virum and Kalundborg, comprising around 100 employees. In this role, you’ll be both strategist and leader, guiding the CSA area toward short- and long-term goals aligned with NNE’s overall direction.
You’ll be responsible for high-level resource planning, ensuring quality in design and execution, and driving cross-organizational change and improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be key in strengthening collaboration across teams, enhancing business processes, and staying ahead of industry trends. As Director, you’ll challenge existing ways of working and foster innovation to deliver world-class engineering solutions within the CSA discipline.

How you might spend your days
As Director in CSA, you’ll be:
- Driving project success through strategic resource planning, execution excellence, and close collaboration with project managers.
- Ensuring compliance and quality by meeting QMS, GEP, and NNE standards, while proactively managing changes, risks, and customer feedback.
- Leading people and culture by supporting retention goals, improving employee engagement, and fostering a values-driven work environment.
- Advancing innovation by scouting new technologies, enhancing engineering services, and promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Translating strategy into action by aligning daily operations with NNE’s long-term goals and building strong customer relationships.

What you bring to the role

- You have a degree in engineering or a related technical field.
- You bring 10 years experience in pharma or engineering — of which at least 5 in a people leader role.
- You have experience managing cross-functional and international teams.
- You bring experience in building long-lasting relations to customers.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
