Sales Director – North America

GomSpace North America is seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive growth across the United States and Canada. This strategic role will focus on expanding GomSpace’s presence and customer base across defense, earth observation, connectivity, and science sectors.

About the Role
The Sales Director will lead business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and manage key customer relationships throughout North America. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the small satellite and space systems sector, with a proven track record of success engaging commercial and government customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with GomSpace’s global growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for satellite products and solutions across target sectors.
  • Build and manage relationships with government agencies, satellite operators, integrators, universities, and new-space ventures.
  • Lead proposal development and contract negotiations in coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Represent GomSpace at key industry events, conferences, and trade missions across North America.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to inform product strategy and business planning.

Your Profile
You are a results-driven professional with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. You thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and are comfortable working independently while collaborating with global teams. A willingness to travel domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or business development within the satellite, aerospace, or space systems industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven success selling small satellite systems, subsystems, platforms, or mission solutions to commercial and/or government customers.
  • Strong understanding of LEO and smallsat technologies, market trends, and procurement processes.
  • Understanding of USG procurement and acquisition processes
  • Established network across the North American space community is a plus.
  • US citizenship required.
