Superintendent Engineer

Employment: Full-time

Travel: 140 - 160 days/yearly.

Are you our new service superintendent, who can plan, coordinate, and execute service engineering activities worldwide?
We are looking for an ambitious and technically gifted individual to bring onsite service to the next level at our head office in Nørresundby, Denmark.

As our new Superintendent engineer you will be part of DESMI Global Service and manage service issues, maintain high-quality service standards, and foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing service delivery processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of DESMI.

Your key responsibilities
You will develop and implement service plans, schedules, and workflows to efficiently manage service activities and resources. Provide expert technical support to service engineers, troubleshooting complex issues, and offering guidance on problem-solving techniques.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Monitor service quality and compliance with standards, conducting regular inspections, audits, and performance evaluations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery processes, optimize efficiency, and achieve operational excellence. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with service operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and engineering, to align service delivery with organizational goals and priorities.

The position is in Nørresundby in Denmark, however you will travel worldwide. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Global Service team. You will also have sufficient training when starting.

About you
To have success in the role, we expect that you:

• Have at least 3 years’ experience from a similar job.
• Educational background as Electrical or Automation engineer, or maritime engineer.
• Have significant experience with automation, controls and PLC.
• Can work with a high level of independence.
• Is service minded and used to work in a hectic and changing environment.
• Are fluent in English. Both in spoken and writing.
• Have high cross-cultural understanding.
