the role:
This role is centered on enabling the SASHA platform to scale massively by the end of 2026.

You will be a key driver in rebuilding the entire backend for a new low-code platform and infrastructure, responsible for the full lifecycle: design, optimization, and operation of this new, scalable architecture.

You will have significant influence on future technical direction, implementing and managing technologies like Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Microservices, and IaC.

main responsibilities:
- Participate and co-own in the design and implementation of SASHA’s backend platform and infrastructure.
- Be a key player in our DevOps setup, ensuring a secure and highly reliable production environment.
- To ensure the platform performs at massive scale, implementing scalable architecture like microservices.
- Cover the full lifecycle of the new architecture, including design, optimization, and operation..
- Support the Head of Product & Integrations in client meetings and for pre-meeting sparring.

qualifications and competencies:
- A higher education in computer science, engineering, or similar is essential.
- Proven experience in high-transaction environments such as gaming, finance, payment, saas scale-up or online shopping.
- Experience with running high-performance, large-scale backend systems in production.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Well versed in Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, preferably also lower-level languages such as Rust or Go.
- Knowledge of gRPC communication protocol and NATS.io is a plus.

We are seeking a profile with proven experience in handling large data volumes, indexing, and efficient searching at a massive scale. You should be familiar with high-traffic, scalable systems.

The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoy collaborative sparring with teammates, and be adept at communicating about technical problems and solutions.
