US PR Manager

Samsøe Samsøe is seeking a US PR Manager to join our New York office full-time. In this role, you will lead and execute our US PR strategy — driving brand awareness across press, influencers, and key cultural stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Brand Communications and collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure brand visibility and growth across the US market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive brand awareness and visibility across the US fashion, lifestyle, and cultural landscape through press, influencers, events, and partnerships.
  • Implement and manage the US PR strategy on a daily basis, ensuring brand consistency and local relevance.
  • Build and develop compelling storytelling around seasonal collections, campaigns, and product launches to generate impactful media coverage across print, digital, and social platforms.
  • Coordinate and execute PR initiatives, define KPIs, and measure performance in collaboration with the Head of Brand Communications to ensure strong ROI.
  • Manage the New York showroom, including media visits, stylist appointments, and sample trafficking.
  • Adapt and localise global communications strategies to fit the US market while maintaining alignment with brand values.
  • Proactively pitch and build strong relationships with US media, editors, stylists, and digital outlets to secure top-tier coverage.
  • Oversee influencer marketing campaigns, identifying and managing talent partnerships to drive both brand and sales objectives.
  • Develop and manage all press materials, including press releases, campaign briefs, and pitching documents, in collaboration with the Copywriter and Head of Brand Communications.
  • Plan and execute brand events, including press days, collection previews, store openings, dinners, and experiential activations, in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Lead seeding programs, editor appointments, and gifting activations to drive organic visibility and community engagement.
  • Manage the US PR budget in collaboration with the Head of Brand Communications.
  • Travel domestically for brand events, launches, and media appointments as required.
  • Report on key metrics across PR, influencer, and event activities, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and audience growth.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in PR, ideally within the fashion, lifestyle, or luxury industries.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships with US media, influencers, stylists, and cultural tastemakers.
  • Strategic and results-driven with a creative mindset and a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in representing the brand externally.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with VOCAST, Launchmetrics, Lefty, or other PR/influencer management platforms is a plus.
