In this role you will be reinforcing our team in developing our SWUBS payment processing system that is able to do international payments while simultaneously enhancing the functionalities towards the clients with the aim of fulfilling Banking Circle’s overall goal of creating a state-of-the-art payment experience to all clients.

You will be reporting to the Team Lead of SWUBS Business Analysis and be a part of our growing Clearing Technology department, working closely with the payments business and engineering and collaborate with a broad variety of stakeholders across the bank.

We offer a hybrid work model for our employees to allow for flexibility and productivity. However, we do expect you to spend most of your time in the office to build community and efficiency in the team.

Exciting work is waiting for you

• Provide self-driven business analysis and solution specifications for prioritized strategic projects
• Support development prioritization process using your proven skills in SQL, VBA, Python, regular-expression or similar
• Work closely with development engineering and provide clear and easily understandable solution specifications
• Understand and translate both external and internal requirements to user stories
• Test your developed features and stories as well as build them into our test suite
• Take part in our release management process which includes regression testing etc.
• Provide payments subject matter expertise in different areas of the payments space from an understanding of end-to-end payments processes of different payment types

Things we’ll look for on your resume
We expect you to have at least 1-3 years of experience working with payments business and consider knowledge of technological business solutions as an advantage.

You are used to performing data drive business analysis independently and are experienced in stakeholder engagement across development engineering and business areas. You must have flair for developing and specifying solutions and be accustomed to successfully supporting projects of varying size and complexity and know how to manage multiple tasks simultaneous. Experience working with database structure and analysis work with larger datasets across multiple systems is seen as strong asset.

As a person you are honest and open, you take ownership of your work and are a well-organized team player, who knows the value of clear and precise communication. You’re a self-starter with a critical thinker mindset when solving complex challenges. You have strong people skills and can understand and explain complex things concisely.

You appreciate being a trouble-shooter and like taking responsibility when finding solutions for problems with a strong focus on strategic goals.

Experience working with different payment types/areas such as SWIFT, Batch, Instant, RTGS is preferred, but not a requirement.
