The Role:
We are seeking a delivery-focused People Manager to join COP’s Taiwan office. Reporting to the Senior People Partner for Taiwan, this role is accountable for the execution of local HR operations and services, ensuring all processes are compliant with Taiwan’s labour laws and consistent with COP’s global standards.
This role is the local HR delivery engine for Taiwan—owning HR administration, compliance, manager and employee support on the ground. You will work closely with COP’s global People & Communications (P&C) team in Denmark to implement and adapt global initiatives, while ensuring smooth and reliable HR service delivery for employees and managers in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver reliable, compliant local HR operations including contracts, payroll, benefits, and policy administration.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees in Taiwan, managing day-to-day HR queries and cases.
- Administer employee relations processes and provide procedural guidance to managers.
- Execute local engagement activities, events, and communications to foster a positive team culture.
- Support the implementation of global HR initiatives locally, adapting them to meet Taiwan requirements.
- Manage logistics and support for international employees relocating to Taiwan, including onboarding and mobility processes.
- Ensure documentation, records, and reporting meet both local legal standards and COP’s global requirements.
Your Experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR operations or HR service delivery experience in Taiwan.
- Proven knowledge of Taiwan labour law, payroll, and employment practices.
- Strong administrative discipline and attention to detail.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and motivated by ensuring processes run smoothly and effectively.
