Product Designer at Zenegy

Zenegy is rebuilding the modern financial suite for SMBs. Payroll, expenses, time, numbers, portfolio management, an all in one flowing system. We’re moving fast: new brand, new design system, new employee app, and a stronger product identity across web, native, and PWA.

To get there, we’re looking for a Product Designer who cares deeply about turning complex workflows into simple, human experiences. Someone who brings design systems to life, understands multi-platform reality, and enjoys shaping the connective tissue between brand and product.

What you’ll be working on
• Craft intuitive UI and UX across our suite: native apps, PWA, and web

• Contribute and evolve Zenegy’s design system alongside the design team, contributing components, tokens, documentation, patterns, and accessibility standards

• Partner with Product and Engineering on payroll, expenses, time tracking, mileage, onboarding flows, and our new AI-assisted features

• Turn messy ERP-adjacent logic and financial rules into user-friendly flows for employees, admins, and accountants

• Create prototypes in Figma and (optionally) Protopie that help teams make decisions fast

• Use data, research, and usability testing to refine designs and validate assumptions

• Maintain design quality from idea to handover, and support developers during implementation

• Ensure every part of the product reflects the new Zenegy brand and its principles: clarity, speed, confidence, and motion used with intent

What we’re looking for
• Solid experience in digital or product design, ideally within SaaS or complex systems

• Comfortable working with and extending design systems - not just using them

• Strong UI craft and a good sense of structure, layout, hierarchy, and consistency

• Ability to simplify complexity without dumbing things down

• A mindset for multi-platform design (native app, PWA, responsive web)

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate tightly with product managers, developers, and fellow designers

• Comfortable in Figma; experience with Protopie is a bonus but not mandatory

• Curiosity about AI-supported workflows for design and product

• A portfolio that shows how you think: problem definition, reasoning, and outcomes

Nice to have
• Experience with ERP, finance, HR, or admin workflows

• Experience designing for structured data, tables, states, and edge-cases

• Understanding of accessibility principles

• Experience in fast-moving, iterative product environments
