QA Specialist – Driving Quality in Global ERP Transformation

Bavarian Nordic is strengthening our Global Quality Systems team, and we’re looking for a QA Specialist to play a central role in our upcoming ERP reimplementation across all sites and functions worldwide.
About the role
You will step into a key role as the dedicated QA partner on our journey to replace two existing ERP systems (SAP & Dynamics).
Your primary focus will be to bring a strong Quality Assurance mindset into the project, ensuring that the new ERP setup fully meets both regulatory requirements and our internal quality standards – from functional processes to technical design.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in IT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, QC and QA to define and align requirements, conduct risk assessments and establish robust ways of working.
Depending on your background and interests, you may also get the chance to contribute to broader QMS harmonization initiatives, including Product Quality Review and Digital Batch Release.

The role is based at our manufacturing site in Kvistgaard, with the option for hybrid working.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as QA lead on the ERP project, ensuring compliance with GxP and internal quality standards
- Review and approve GMP-relevant functional and technical specifications
- Drive and support validation activities for the new ERP system(s)
- Develop and maintain ERP-related governance documents (SOPs, work instructions)
- Provide QA expertise in audits, inspections, change controls and deviations related to the ERP implementation
Who Are We Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, in pharmacy, engineering, IT, or other relevant sciences
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Dynamics) and understanding of their impact on GMP processes
- Experience with supply chain, or batch releases
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Danish is an advantage

Our team is responsible for maintaining and improving Bavarian Nordic’s global Quality Management System, including processes like Change Control, Deviations, Continuous Improvement, and IT systems such as Veeva Quality.
We work across sites in Denmark, Bern, Munich, and Durham to ensure compliance and drive quality improvements globally.
