Mechanical Engineer - Production Engineering Department

Goals: To maintain and enhance production equipment reliability through systematic maintenance and upgrade programs, lead mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, drive digitalization initiatives that improve equipment performance monitoring and predictive maintenance, implement design improvements using modern CAD tools, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical innovation within the production environment.

Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Developing and implementing technical solutions in production and leading improvement projects
• Participating in concept development and industrialization projects
• Contributing hands-on support in various factory projects
• Project management

Desired qualifications and experience:

• BSc or MSc in mechanical design or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of construction, design, and mechanics
• Broad technical foundation and curiosity for new solutions and technologies
• Experience with SolidWorks, industrial design, MS365, and product development is a significant advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian/Scandinavian and English

• Structured and systematic work style
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical challenges and solutions at different levels of the organization
• Motivated and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills and an understanding of the value of good relationships with colleagues
