Are you studying at university level and are you interested in gaining valuable experience in the international finance and compliance area?
We are looking for an engaged student that can help with supporting our international operation by solving several financial tasks within the international operation in Danish Red Cross
About the position:
As a student assistant you primary goal is to assist the internal control and the international finance teams in supporting the international operation. You’ll be an important part of the team at the Copenhagen location by helping with cross cutting function and updating of information gathered from the countries where Danish Red Cross is present.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with colleagues from several countries – the employees in the financial team are working out of 4 countries – Lebanon, Kenya, Malawi and Denmark. The job shall also give you the opportunity to learn more about Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBi as these are two of the systems we are using.
Your workplace will be the headquarter in Blegdamsvej in Copenhagen. Currently we are renovating the building, so currently we are also having office space in Titangade.
Tasks in headlines:
- Assist in coordinating, collecting, organising and analysing the project audit reports or any other audit report etc.
- Organising all monitoring reports, information etc.
- Write on SOPs, guidelines based on input from International Finance & Internal Control and Compliance
- Support the ICC team on tasks related to the scope of work of the unit e.g. transactions testing, procedures testing, report review etc.
- Cross cutting tasks for the international finance team
We are looking for you, who:
- are studying - preferable within finance or accounting (cand.merc., cand.polit. or similar)
- have experience with finance systems
- are comfortably to work in Danish & English, both written and oral
- are structured and able to work independently
- have a wish to work with finance in international environment
