Are you interested in driving data innovations and helping organisations leverage data for maximum impact? As the Product Owner for Data Product Solutions, you will lead a dedicated and skilled team in developing, standardising, and managing Danske Bank’s central marketplace on Databricks – a cloud-based platform designed to host all data products across the organisation.
In this role, you will guide and support our organisation in adhering to technical standards for data product implementation. You will also contribute to Danske Bank’s journey towards a Data Mesh architecture, empowering business teams to expose and leverage data products on our centralised data platform.
Your squad will include IT and business professionals located across multiple locations, including Denmark and India, working collaboratively towards shared goals. The role is based in Vilnius, and Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility through our hybrid work model, which combines remote work with in-office collaboration at least three days a week. You will:
- Define the vision and roadmap for establishing an internal central marketplace for data products, working collaboratively to align with the organisation’s strategic objectives
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog to ensure team members consistently deliver value that supports the company’s overall goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to identify data ownership and empower them to align their data products with defined technical standards and governance principles
- Work together with team members to lead the migration of data currently owned by the team to the central marketplace, ensuring it is accessible and meets the organisation’s needs, until the relevant business data owners are ready to take ownership and expose their data themselves
- Ensure high-quality and stable data solutions that effectively support the organisation’s operations and growth
About you:
We are seeking a motivated and driven individual who shares our commitment to data and its transformative potential within an organisation. You have a deep understanding of data, a strong interest in the concept of Data Mesh, and the skills to guide teams and stakeholders on this journey:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, combined with hands-on knowledge of or exposure to Data Mesh principles and practices
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and navigate a complex organisation
- Extensive experience collaborating with software engineers, business analysts, and business leaders to define and execute a cohesive product vision and strategy across multiple product areas
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to shape long-term goals and align them with stakeholders’ objectives
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, driving them towards continuous delivery and ensuring consistent progress against project milestones
- Familiarity with Agile tools, such as Jira and Confluence is beneficial
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum upper-intermediate level

We offer:
This position can be located either Lithuania or Denmark. If the position is located in Lithuania monthly salary range will be from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
