Responsible for developing the Telecom business in the Nordics, Baltics and Poland reporting to the European Telecom Managing Director.
• P&L responsibility for a budget of EUR 11 million with sales, services and technical support teams of 16 people in Poland and Denmark.
• Responsible for a growth strategy and transformation process from a product-centric organization to a solutions-centric organization.
• Restructured the two sales teams, with new targets and account distribution. Implemented new processes for sales management including transparent objectives and KPI’s based on balanced scorecard/traffic lights and a new OTE/performance pay structure.
• Grew the Polish market share by close to 70% from 23% to 45% and returned the Nordic business to growth. Broke into the Finnish market by negotiating a contract with Elisa for SIM and mobile payments/NFC and secured a group supply agreement with TeliaSonera for all affiliates.
• Closed several solutions deals for mobile payments (TSM/mobile Wallet) with key players such as Orange, T-Mobile and NETS.
Closed first European solution deals for e-SIM/IoT (smart metering).
