Working in a small team in Denmark, part of a world-wide network of local offices, producing precise and detailed maps widely available upon the Internet and for navigational devices. In my present role I am managing and project responsible for the update and maintainance of the map database of Denmark, from performing field work and the implementation of data, to carrying out the necessary quality checks preparing it for its final release. I have been involved with the creation of the map databases for all the countries within the Nordic and Baltic region, which also included visiting each country performing the initial GPS and LiDAR survey work. Other roles include analysing source data and producing statistical reports, and the creation of a useful contact network, comprising of the local municipalities, police and services, as well as governmental authorities. Being an international company I am in daily communication with other offices and departments across Europe and the rest of the world.
