General Manager for DOG A/S (now AVISTA OIL), one of the largest used oil re-refiners in Europe. Based in Denmark, responsible for plant operations, supply chain logistics and used-oil collection infrastructure.

• Laboratory services and QMS
• Product marketing, negotiation and sales

Main Achievements
• Development of international market for new refinery products, effectively tripling turnover
• Expanded source and supply of Northern Europe/Scandinavian based used oil feedstock, ensuring 24/7 operations
• Successful implementation of new process technologies and plant expansion programme project

1999 – 2002 Technical Support Manager BITOR Italia Srl

BITOR Italia (based in Rome) was an affiliate company of PdVSA, dealing with the contract management of fuel supply from Venezuela into the Mediterranean region.

Responsibilities
• Focusing on R&D, Technical and Operational Support
• Provision of technical liaison and support to a portfolio of clients in UK, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, USA, Canada, Venezuela and Korea

Main Achievements
• Successful completion of multi-million dollar supply contract into Italy
• Management of fuel remediation project, ultimately saving ca. $8million
