Throughout these years I had a chance to work on both national (Turkey) and international - European Union 7th Framework Directive Programme - projects, to which my main contribution was on investigating the impact of trophic status and water level changes on aquatic plant communities. I further participated to the reporting of these projects, also took part in conducting the statistical analysis of the field data and writing manustcripts. I also had the chance to earn great experience on field and lab works, and also on teamwork. For seven years I was actively involved in the data collection during the fieldworks, which I took part in organizing, planning and coordinating as well. Moreover, I was also involved in the setting-up, sampling and laboratory analysis (e.g. water chemistry) of the in-lake mesocosm experiments. I also took part in preparing the bathymetry and plant coverage maps of the sampled lakes by using ArcGIS.
