-Meeting Short & Long Term Financial Targets by ensuring accurate DOC (Direct operating costs) and Indirect cost accruals, submission of all Balance sheet schedules with quality control and meaningful descriptions on time, in compliance to all tax and regulations.
-Supervising and assisting in accounts payable function by ensuring accurate and timely accounting and payment of invoices in line with contract terms and ensuring all contracts are updated in Oracle Financials contract module.
-Daily accounting of Accounts Receivable and Treasury Functions by ensuring daily sales is recorded and reconciled with the bank statement so that proper cash flow forecast could be prepared to cover funds for station expenses.
-Staff payroll processing in compliance with local laws and collective agreement between Qatar Airways and a labor union.
-Preparation and filing of VAT, Advance and Corporate Income tax on SKAT (tax) portal.
-Preparation of annual budget and forecast for station and timely submission of the same to Head Office for review and approval.
-Responsible for coordinating with external consultants for annual accounts preparation and filing of local and group financial statements within timeline.
-Preparation and filing of monthly and annual statistical reports to Denmark Statistics.
-Identifying and execution of cost saving initiatives by better contract negotiation and ensuring receipt of all applicable discounts and/or incentives.
-Responsible for Robust Staff Development & Succession Planning by identification of potential successors at all levels and development of personnel by periodic training both local and international.
-Regularly evaluating departmental objectives, plans, procedures & practices, and make appropriate changes if needed.

Mobilink Microfinance bank is one of the fastest growing bank in Microfinancing industry and is a sister concern of Pakistan’s largest telecommunication company Pakistan Mobile Communication Limited (JAZZ). My role was mainly in the group and financial reporting section. Main responsibilities included branch and consolidated financial statement preparation and filing on group portal, Treasury investment management, Accounts payable and fixed assets supervision and annual external audit management, preparation of monthly management reports using tools like Ms Powerpoint and Microsoft BI

I joined Khushhali Microfinance bank Limited as a Finance and Accounts Officer responsible for supervising branch accounting for a region that consisted of 30 branches. Kept close liaison with branch finance staff to ensure proper accounting of daily transaction and thus had a team of 3 support staff that helped me manage branch accounts and with monthly closure of branch financials. After approximately one year I moved up the ladder to manage fixed assets of the entire bank with additional management reporting responsibility.

My primary responsibilities were maintaining branch accounts, Variance analysis and cost control for further submission to CFO and supervision of team members in maintaining the books of accounts in accordance with IFRS and local regulations relating to insurance companies in Pakistan.

During my tenure at Alcatel-Lucent Pakistan Ltd. I had worked on difference areas of accounting like Fixed Assets, Prepayments, Accounts Payables and Receivables. Apart from that I have also assisted Manager Finance in preparation of Cash Flow Forecasting, working on maturity of advances and their presentation to Chief Financial Officer.

Participated in external audit of International School of Islamabad and Islamabad Electric Supply Company during my tenure at KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co.
