Join us at Maersk Container Industry in Tinglev as a Manager Test Center and Laboratory with management responsibilities over a team of six test technicians and engineers, where you will drive important advancements in our Star Cool reefer machine.

As our new Manager Test Center and Laboratory, you will oversee a team of test technicians and engineers, supporting our R&D department. In this role you will be referring directly to our CTO. Your main duties will include:

• Leading and managing a team of six, setting objectives and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Elevating our testing capabilities and advancing our overall testing standards, leveraging your expertise using best practices from the industry
• Enhancing and executing accurate, reliable performance tests, with oversight of test procedures in Tinglev and our China facility
• Representing the laboratory in specific development projects, aligning testing requirements with lab capabilities, and ensuring high standards in test specifications, prototype evaluations, and formal reporting
• Driving team development, providing mentorship, and implementing improvements in test processes, while contributing to strategic lab enhancements

We’re seeking a candidate with technical expertise in refrigeration and/or thermodynamics as well as significant experience managing a team within a testing or R&D environment. Preferred qualifications include:

• A strong background in advanced testing methodologies to help elevate our processes and contribute to a higher level of precision and effectiveness in testing.
• Proven experience in team management, with strong leadership skills and a track record of fostering collaboration and achieving team goals.
• Comprehensive skills in test documentation and reporting, combined with an understanding of business processes and the ability to communicate effectively across functions.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to implement improvements, provide guidance to team members, and balance strategic and operational responsibilities.
• Proficiency in English is required, and Danish skills are a plus and recommended but not mandatory.

Travel activities will be 0 - 20 days a year.
