Senior Project Manager, Software & Product Development - Unique Human Capital

As Senior Project Manager at DEIF, you will have the opportunity to manage high-impact projects that span software, hardware, and mechanical development. With direct report to Vice President, R&D Software, you will oversee a wide range of product development projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across DEIF, including software, hardware, and mechanical engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timelines. In this role, you will act as the driving force behind the execution of DEIF’s product innovations, from simple custom developments to large-scale platform projects.

Your main tasks are:

• Lead and manage complex, multidisciplinary projects within product development (software, hardware, and mechanical)
• Develop clear project goals, detailed plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to meet milestones
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Manage project resources and optimise team performance across departments
• Apply both agile and traditional project management methodologies to ensure effective project execution
• Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, leading project meetings and tracking progress
• Proactively identify risks and challenges, addressing them early in the project lifecycle

You are expected to have a strong background in managing complex product development projects, with at least five years of experience leading cross-functional teams. Your expertise in agile methodologies and traditional project management approaches will be key to successfully delivering DEIF’s innovative solutions. Knowledge of project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and Aha! is essential, along with experience in software development environments.

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field. Certifications in Scrum Master, SAFe, PMP, or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.

You are a strong leader and communicator; you excel at balancing multiple priorities and keeping teams motivated to achieve outstanding results.
