SW Quality Assurance Engineer / Exploratory Tester

We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented, and proactive Exploratory Tester to join our Software Quality Assurance team in Nørresundby. In this role, you will go beyond scripted test cases to uncover hidden issues, edge cases, and usability concerns. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and system architects to ensure our product quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct exploratory testing sessions to identify defects, inconsistencies, and unexpected behaviours.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user workflows.
• Document and communicate findings clearly, including reproduction steps and impact assessments.
• Ensure our company procedures for testing is up to date.
• Participate in risk analysis and test planning discussions.
• Suggest improvements to testing processes and tools.
• Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on exploratory or session-based testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think creatively and critically about how users interact with software.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with bug tracking tools.
